<h3>Code of Conduct</h3>
<ul>
<li>1. As the name of the Club suggests, 'Maitri' (friendship) between members should be the primary objective of Maitri Club. All the members should adhere to the spirit of friendship and goodwill for each other and refrain from any act of inconsideration, unmannerliness, impoliteness and self-centeredness. </li>
<li>१. जैसा कि नाम से विदित है सदस्यों के बीच “मैत्री” भाव क्लब का मुख्य उद्देश्य होना चाहिए | सभी सदस्यों को एक दूसरे के प्रति मैत्री और सदिच्छा की भावना का परिचय देते हुए रुखा, अनुचित, असहज और आत्मकेंद्रित जैसे अप्रिय ब्यवहार एवं कार्य से परहेज करना चाहिए | </li>
<li>2. Platform of Maitri Club should be used for meaningful, progressive, constructive and creative acts only. Any kind of meaningless, regressive, destructive and uncreative act should be absolutely forbidden. </li>
<li>२. मैत्री क्लब का मंच सार्थक, सकारात्मक, रचनात्मक, और सृजनात्मक कार्यो के लिए किया जाना चाहिए | किसी भी प्रकार का निरर्थक, नकारात्मक, अवरोधक और असृजनात्मक कृत्य प्रतिबंधित होना चाहिए | </li>
<li>3. Being a Citizen of India and a part of prestigious educational institute like IIITA, members should understand their responsibilities and as social members look forward to extend services towards a healthy, progressive and happier society. </li>
<li>३. भारत के नागरिक और आई० आई० आई० टी० ए० जैसे शैक्षणिक संस्थान परिवार का सदस्य होने की जिम्मेदारी का अहसास सभी सदस्यों को होनी चाहिए | तथा स्वस्थ, प्रगतिगामी और खुशहाल समाज के प्रति सक्रिय सहयोग सुनिश्चित करना चाहिए | </li>
<li>4. All events and festivals should be celebrated actively and sportively in a friendly and enjoyable manner. </li>
<li>४. सभी कार्यक्रम एवं उत्सव मैत्रिपूर्ण वातावरण में सक्रिय सहयोग से आनंदपूर्वक मनाया जाना चाहिए | </li>
<li>5. Members should make collective efforts for inducing good morals, behavior, team spirit, helpfulness and enhance talent among children. Every child should be given equal chance.

<li>५. सभी सदस्यों द्वारा उच्च नैतिक आदर्श स्थापना एवं बच्चों के सर्वांगीण विकास में सर्वभावसहित सहयोगात्मक सामूहिक प्रयास किया जाना चाहिए | </li>

<li>6. All activities of Maitri Club should be guided by Core Committee. Every member should be a part of the Core Committee in turns. </li>
<li>६. मैत्री क्लब का कार्यान्वयन कोर कमिटी द्वारा किया जाना चाहिए जिसमें सभी सदस्य को बारी-बारी से जुड़ना चाहिए | <li>

<h3>Core Committee</h3>
<b>Selection, Duties and Rights</b><br>
<ul>
<li>1. The core committee shall comprise of five members. Two of the members shall be selected by 'Luck of the Draw' in the month of April for a period of one year. These two members shall select other three members of their choice. Out of five members of the core committee, one (treasurer) shall handle finance and one (coordinator) shall handle official approvals, email and documents.
</li>
<li>2. New members shall replace the existing core committee in the following year by same procedure. Present core committee shall present with thanksgiving gifts to the ex core committee in the month of May.
</li>
<li>3. Core Committee shall be given special power, rights and immunity. All the events declared under the budget of Maitri Club shall be organized by the core committee as per their convenience and choice. Other members shall accept core committee's decision sportively.
</li>
<li>4. Core committee shall be responsible for organization, official approval and information to members regarding fixed programs under the budget of Maitri club mainly: Twelve monthly meetings, two family dinners and four snacks party which shall include at least one cultural programme, one festival and one charity event.

<li>5. Core Committee shall select Family dinner from the List of Festivals and Events and declare so that members can plan other events outside the budget of Maitri Club.
</li>
<li>6. Criteria for deciding dates for fixed events shall be convenience of Core Committee or majority of members. Core committee shall take majority (if opted) a month before the date of event (in monthly meeting) as sufficient time is required for approval and organization.
</li>
<li>7. Members who do not fall into majority or fail to be present during voting or cannot attend the event (under the budget of Maitri club) due to personal reasons shall be accommodative and accept sportively.
</li>
<li>8. Members can suggest their ideas (menu, activity etc.) regarding fixed events to core committee through phone or email.
</li>
<li>9. For any event outside the budget of Maitri Club, Core Committee shall be responsible only for informing members and official approval if required. Interested members shall inform core committee at least two weeks prior to the date of the event and take responsibility for organizing the event including collection of money.
</li>
<li>10. Core Committee shall organize monthly meeting on Monday/Wednesday/Friday of every month. If the need or inconvenience arises core committee shall organize monthly meeting on any other convenient day.
</li>
<li>11. Members shall inform core committee about their inability to attend any meeting. Failing to inform or attend three consecutive monthly meetings, respective member shall be subjected to fine of one month fee by default.
</li>
<li>12. Core Committee shall prepare and declare balance sheet in the monthly meeting of April(termination of tenure).Charge and funds shall be handed over to the new core committee immediately.
