It is a significant challenge to continuously monitor such data and derive insights in a timely manner. This course on data stream analysis focuses on methods and software for deriving patterns and aggregates from data streams in real-time. The course will focus on (1) Parallel and distributed methods for data stream mining, (2) Methods for mining from graphical data, where each stream item represents a relationship between entities.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

He has published widely in top-tier venues in databases, and in parallel and distributed computing, with more than 80 publications and six patents. Her main research interests are in the areas of Big Data, Big Data Mining, Support Vector Machines, Stream Analytics and Software Engineering. She attended a number of National and International Conferences/workshops and authored more than 60 research papers in national/international journals and conferences of repute. She completed her Masters thesis work at Liverpool John Moores University (LJMU), Liverpool, U.K. during November 1999 to February 2000 under Indo-UK REC Project, a joint collaboration in between School of Computing & Mathematical Science, LJMU Liverpool UK and Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology, Allahabad. She had participated in Indo Swiss Joint Research Program (ISJRP) and full financial support was awarded to carry out joint research work and to gain knowledge regarding the recent research and experimental facility/work at EPFL, Switzerland, from December 2011 to January 2012.
