<h3 class="title">Bio</h3>
<p>Jagpreet is an Assistant Professor at the IT department in IIIT Allahabad. He works in the areas of Parallel and Distributed systems with main focus on energy and thermal aware scheduling in multicore and heterogeneous multiprocessors, energy aware routing in wireless sensor networks and optimization of collective algorithms in High Performance Computing. Jagpreet obtained his M.S. from Bits Pilani, and Ph.D. from IIT Ropar. He worked with Prof. Nitin Auluck at IIT Ropar for his PhD. He spent one year as a senior researcher at ETH Zurich with Swiss Government Excellence Fellowship award. He was a part of the SPCL lab at ETH Zurich which is headed by Prof. Torsten Hoefler. His Erdos Number is three (via Torsten Hoefler). </p>

shed light on when and how warmth and competence are jointly promoted
