• Principal Investigator of the DST /EPSRC funded Indo-UK Collaborative Research Project on "Bridging the Urban and Rural Divide (BURD) " (Ongoing).

• Research Team Member (representing IIITA) of EPSRC, UK funded International Collaborative Research Network of Indian and UK Universities and Inductry partners on "Interactive Technologies for End Users" (Nov. 2008 - Oct. 2010).

• Submitted a project proposal costing Rs. 50.00 million as Principal Investigator to Dept. of Science & Technology (DST), Govt. of India under FIST Scheme which was further sanctioned by DST (Sanction letter no.: SR/FST/ETI-044/2007 dt. 31-10-2007).

• Worked as Principal Investigator of the MHRD (Govt. of India) funded R&D project at IIIT-A during Apr'03 to Sep'05 (Cost: Rs. 0.70 million).

• Carried out R&D Project work for Indian Railways, Allahabad as well as for WARDEC, Ministry of Defence, New Delhi.

• Worked as 'Core Team Member Scientist' of DRDO Software Development R&D project 'SARVADISTA' related with Computer Vision & Graphics areas during Apr'96 to Oct'00, (Cost: ~ Rs. 250.00 million).

• Worked as a core team member for execution of the Software development subcontract with Institute of Engineering Cybernetics (IEC), Russia at DRDO, Dehradun (1999-2000).

• Worked as 'Core Team Member Scientist' of DRDO Software Development R&D project 'DIPTA' related with Computer Vision & Graphics areas during Aug' 91 – Mar' 96, (Cost: ~ Rs. 50.00 million).

• Completed a project on "Snow Avalanche Flow Modeling" for SASE/DRDO, Manali during Apr'90 to Jul'91.

• Completed a project on 'Computerized Question bank and Examination System' in association of ANURAG (DRDO), Hyderabad during May'89 to Mar'90. The system was used in conducting examination using computers for selection of EFC students at IAT (DRDO), Pune.
