My research interests lie broadly in the field of
Computing Systems specifically focussing on exploring different aspects of embedded and distributed systems. My research hovers around the frontiers of computer architecture, computer networks, system software, compilers and artificial intelligence. I am fascinated with battery operated, small form factor computing systems, and how they can be applied to emerging systems handling issues related to low energy consumption, security and fault tolerance. I am specially excited about applying artificial intelligence in resource constrained systems in a secured and efficient manner. I am also excited about biologically inspired computing systems and would like to work on their design in future.

Computer
System Laboratory has been established with the aim to develop an
independent research wing specialising in areas of embedded system, high
performance computing, parallel/distributed systems,
energy efficient systems, security aware systems. In
addition, the lab supports studies in other branches of
computational science and electrical engineering such as
artificial intelligence, machine learning, supercomputing,
VLSI, CAD, and computer architecture. The research focus
of the Computer Systems Lab is both experimental and
theoretical, encompassing major domains of computer
science.
